ALL PROSPECTIVE FULL-TIME HND CANDIDATES

RE: REPORT OF THE SEVENTH(7^TH) JOINT CONSULTATIVE MEETING OF THE POLICY COMMITTEE ON ADMISSIONS TO NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND), NATIOANAL CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION AWARDING INSTITUTIONS FOR THE 2008/2009 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Academic Board at its meeting held on 30^th October, 2008 noted the information from the Report of the Seventh (7^th ) Joint Consultative meeting of the Policy Committee on Admissions to National Diploma (ND) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) awarding institutions for the 2008/2209 Academic session that, a major requirement to qualify candidates for the National Youth Services Corps Programme is the production of the original JAMB letters of Admission into NCE, ND and B.SC programmes.

The Board subsequently DIRECTED that

            National Diploma graduates from the part-time programmes admitted into the full-time Higher National Diploma programmes will not be mobilized for the  National Youth Service Corps  programme after successful completion of their programmes with effect from the 2008/2009 Academic Session.

The foregoing is for the information and compliance of all prospective HND candidates.
