GUIDELINES FOR 2008/2009 POST- JAMB MPCE SCREENING
EXERCISE
The Lagos State Polytechnic wishes to announce guidelines for the screening of candidates for its Full-Time National Diploma Programmes for 2008/2009 admissions.
Guidelines:
(A) Eligibility
I. All candidates who chose Lagos State Polytechnic as their Institution of First or Second Choice, and scored 100 and above in the 2008/2009 JAMB MPCE;
II. Candidates qualified in (i) above should present themselves for a screening exercise on date and venues to be announced later.
III. Prospective candidates without any ATM card should proceed to any branch of Skye Bank or any other bank to obtain an ATM (Campus Card).
IV. Prospective candidates fund the ATM card account (by paying cash for your application form to the bank cashier) and thereafter log on-line to http://www.mylaspotech.com/admission purchase.aspx to start the application process from Monday 8th September, 2008 by selecting the programme of choice. A new page appears that shows the cost of application as: Post-JAMB/PCE application form = N1, 319.50 among others.
V. Applicants are thereafter directed to the secure payment gateway to make payment before being given access to the application form. A pop-up form appears, to be completed by the student. He/she enters a valid cash/campus card number, the expiry date, the PIN to the card, while the amount paid appears at the bottom.
VI. Applicant therefore completes the application form online, saves, submit and print out the form.
(B) Requirements for the Screening Exercise:
Eligible Candidates are required to bring the following documents for the Screening exercise:
I. JAMB MPCE acknowledgement card affixed with candidate’s recent passport photograph;
II. JAMB MPCE Notification of Result Slip;
III. Photocopies of Certificate (Statement of result in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB)
IV. Original and Photocopy of the On-line Post-JAMB MPCE form with a recent passport photograph with candidate’s full-names written on the reverse side;
V. Two (2) HB Pencils with eraser.
(C) Mode of Screening Exercise
Candidates will be required to write a one hour (1Hr.) test made up of questions in English Language, Mathematics and one other subject as indicated below:
