2006/2007 ADMISSION FOR HND FULL-TIME, ND AND HND PART-TIME  PROGRAMMES

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

A.        APPLYING FOR ADMISSION

1. Obtain a LASPOTECH On-line Admissions Scratch card from an authorized distribution outlet.  Scratch the card to reveal the secret PIN (Personal Identification Number) that can be found at the back of the card. If it is a new scratch card it will allow you to enter your application for admission.  If you have used the card before it will allow you to modify or submit your application for admission.
2. Also enter the SURNAME, and OTHER NAMES as you want it to appear on the application form.  You will not be able to change these so ensure that they are entered correctly. 
3. Also enter a password so that no unauthorized person can have access to your application.  You will use this password anytime you want to access or modify your application.  Make sure you make a record of your PIN and password as you will not be able to access your application without them. 
4. After entering information on your application form for the first time, you are advised to save the application and return to it at a later date before submitting or forwarding it on-line. 
5. When you have completed all the entries for the application you can then submit the application on-line to Lagos State Polytechnic.  LASPOTECH will only receive your application when you have submitted it on-line.  If you do not submit your application on-line your application cannot be processed, and you cannot gain admission. Please note that once you submit your application, you cannot access it again.
6. You must then also print out a copy of the application for your personal records.  YOU ARE REQUIRED TO FORWARD PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIALS TO THE REGISTRY AT IKORODU CAMPUS FOR FUL-TIME  CANDIDATES AND SAR(SPTS), ISOLO CAMPUS FOR PART-TIME CANDIDATES FOR SCREENING AND CLEARANCE RESPECTIVELY

B. ADMISSION STATUS CHECKING (HND FULL-TIME , ND AND HND{PART-TIME})

With the same scratch card, the applicant will be able to check for his/her admission status when the application has been processed and the result released by the school.

 C.     POLYJAMB (PCE)  ADMISSION STATUS CHECKING

Step    1:  
Candidate obtains on-line N250 processing Card from an authorized distribution outlet, scratch the card to reveal the Personal Identification Number (PIN)  and enter the Personal Identification Number [PIN] from the ON-LINE  PROCESSING Scratch Card, your PolyJAMB REGISTRATION number (Not Exam. Number), and click: Check Admission.

Step    2:  
If you have not been given admission through PolyJAMB you will be told that NO ADMISSION GRANTED YET or ADMISSION PENDING.  If you have been given admission you will be given all the details of your admission.

Step    3.

Where you see the link for admission clearance you will be given a link to use to enter the information required for your CLEARANCE ,(Highlighted  in RED). Complete this application form so that LASPOTECH will have your details and your result. 

Step    4:  
Go back to that page and follow the link beside "Admission Acceptance" (highlighted in GREEN) to confirm your clearance status. If you have been “cleared” you will be advised to pay your ACCEPTANCE FEE. Thereafter you will buy N5, 250 Acceptance Levy Scratch Card from an authorized distribution outlet, scratch the card to reveal the Personal Identification Number (PIN) and enter the Personal Identification Number [PIN]. Then print out your “Admission Letter”

Step    5:  
Obtain a:

(1.)  Laspotech Administrative/School Fees Scratch Card.

(2.)   Result Verification Scratch card (HND Non-LASPOTECH will purchase N4,250 card while LASPOTECH Diplomats will purchase N1,750 card)

(3.)   Practical Fee A or B. as the case may be (Part-Time Candidates ONLY) from an authorized distribution outlet.  Scratch the card to reveal the secret PIN (Personal Identification Number) that can be found at the back of the card and log in to pay after which you print out your receipts. 

Step    6:  
Obtain another N250 LASPOTECH on-line processing card from an authorized distribution outlet.  Scratch the card to reveal the secret PIN (Personal Identification Number) that can be found at the back of the card and log in to complete your Course Registration form. This can only be done after payment of all fees.

Step    7:

A.        FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES

1.         NATIONAL DIPLOMA CANDIDATES- THROUGH POLYJAMB

(1). Administrative fee Scratch Card of N3, 400.00

(2.) Result Verification Scratch Card of N1, 750.00

2.         HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA CANDIDATES:

            (1)       Administrative fees Scratch card of N6, 750

(2.)      Result Verification Scratch Card A of N1, 750 (LASPOTECH Diplomats)

            (3).      Result Verification Scratch Card B of N4, 250 (Non- LASPOTECH

Diplomates)

B.        PART-TIME PROGRAMMES

1.         NATIONAL DIPLOMA CANDIDATES:

(1). School fees Scratch Card of N20, 250.00

(2.) Result Verification Scratch Card of N1, 750.00

(3). Practical fee A Scratch Card of N5, 250.00 (All Engineering programmes, Food Technology, Science Laboratory Technology and Secretarial Studies)

(4). Practical fee B Scratch card of N10, 250.00 (Hotel & catering Management, Computer Science programmes, and Mass Communication,)

            HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA CANDIDATES:

            (1)       School fees Scratch card of N23, 250.00

(2.)      Result Verification Scratch card A of N1, 750 (LASPOTECH                                                            Diplomates)

            (3).      Result Verification Scratch card B of N4, 250 (Non- LASPOTECH

           Diplomates)

(4).      Practical fee A Scratch card of N5, 250.00 (All Engineering programmes, Food Technology, Science Laboratory Technology and Secretarial Studies)
